William Pye Water Scupture

'Conception|Execution|Reception', London 2014

William Pye was one of three exhibitors at the Royal British Society of Sculptors in Old Brompton Road, London, to present a project in its various stages in the form of drawings, maquettes, photos, videos and publications. The chosen project was Vannpaviljong (Water Pavilion) which was unveiled in 2011 in the town of Drammen in Norway.

The show ran from 5th June to 25th July 2014. 'Aureola', which was made as a piece of research and development for the dome feature on Vannpaviljong, was set up outside the building at the same time and remained on show there for several months after the exhibition.
