Water Pavilion Is Taking Shape In Norway

Posted:
6th June 2011

William Pye has just returned from Drammen near Oslo where on 11th May two large lorries delivered the components of 'Vannpaviljong' (Water Pavilion) on Stromso Square. After ten days of hard and exhausting work for six men, the piece was assembled and the work planned for this visit was completed ahead of schedule. Paving around and inside the sculpture can now be finished. On the next visit in early June water will be switched on and the water sculpture will be commissioned. The inauguration on 18th June will coincide with the opening of the new square and the celebration of the town's birthday with ceremonies, concerts and sport events.
