Spouts concept:

2005 is the fourth year that I have installed a piece in Salisbury Cathedral and Sibirica Minor II has been on loan there from Easter 2005 until Pentecost 2006. During this time the water sculpture has become a font and was used for the first time for this purpose at the 5 a.m. Easter Dawn Liturgy on Sunday 27th March for three baptisms.

The overall design was conceived with the Cathedral in mind, its cruciform shape marking the intersection at the North Crossing within the nave. On this piece the smooth clear streams of water express more overtly the life giving qualities of flowing water than previous sculptures sited in the Cathedral.
