William Pye - Water Sculpture

The classical setting of the Cross Bath, an 18th Century structure in the centre of the city, was the subject of a major makeover. My brief has been to celebrate the emergence of the hot spring water into this new spa.

The project was a collaboration between myself and the architects Sir Nicholas Grimshaw and Donald Insall.A private individual sponsored the piece in memory of his late wife Antonietta.
