Description:
The structure of Flyover is made from bronze, which has a green patina and its form is a little like a gazebo, folly or pergola. Four flying buttress shapes support a central vessel, which supplies hydro statically pressured water to nozzles at the inner portion of the structure. Four groups of water-jets are woven into a cat’s cradle of thirty-two interlacing streams.
The head of water is maintained at a permanent level so that the velocity and curve of the jets remain constant. The excess water delivered through the buttresses emerges at the apex or head stone and overflows down their outer surfaces to create a contrasting movement or feature.
