William Pye Water Scupture

Baldachino

Baldachino shows a cycle of water activity in a double skinned transparent dome that can be viewed from both inside and out. At first there is a turbulent period when the dome is filling, then water overflows from the top, covering the outer surfaces in rollwaves. Finally all pumps are switched off and the water level slowly descends during a tranquil stage until the dome is empty, and the cycle starts again. See the video here
