William Pye Water Scupture

Triple Spout Quenington

In 2005 a bronze triple spout was installed at The Old Rectory, Quenington, Gloucestershire. I have developed carefully sculpted spouts to achieve the purest flow (laminar flow) and the shape of the spout and the falling water complement each other in a singular form. This is in contrast to traditional spouts - water has flowed from the mouths of lions, horses and other beasts, where the sculpture is the focus and the water is sometimes incidental.
